Initiation into the Lalitā Tripurasundarī sadhana

During the retreat you will receive sacred initiation into the Ashtadashi mantra of Lalitā Tripurasundarī, one of the most revered and traditionally protected mantra technologies of the Sri Vidya tradition. This mantra is considered a direct gateway into the living presence of the Divine Mother herself. A current of consciousness that gradually awakens beauty, devotion, wisdom, and profound inner fulfilment.

Our daily practice will centre around a powerful sadhana sequence known as “rounding.” This intelligent progression of asana, mudra, pranayama, mantra, and deep rest is designed to refine the body, nervous system, and subtle energy field so the mantra can be received at a far deeper level.

Practiced in this way, the Ashtadashi mantra begins to reveal its true potency.

Many practitioners describe this experience as waves of beauty moving through the entire field of being - a profound sense of connection with the Divine Mother and a deeply alive, almost intoxicating current of her life force flowing through the body.

This immersive environment & intelligent sequence allows the mantra to penetrate in a way that is rarely possible within the rhythms of daily life.

To support the integration of this work, you will receive a refined take-home sadhana so the essence of Lalitā Tripurasundarī can continue to deepen within you long after the retreat concludes. You will also remain supported by Anne through a retreat WhatsApp community and a closing integration call once your home practice cycle is complete.

Throughout the retreat there will also be opportunities to participate in several traditional Vedic and Tantric pujas, creating additional doorways into devotion and allowing you to experience the Divine Mother not only through meditation, but through the beauty and sacred intimacy of ritual.

Kurulu Bay is a sanctuary of refined simplicity - an eco-luxury retreat space created for women who crave beauty, stillness, and depth. Set on the tranquil shores of Koggala Lake in Ahangama, it feels gently removed from the pace of everyday life. Open-air pavilions, natural textures, and clean architectural lines allow the landscape to flow through every space, while palm trees, birdsong, and warm lake breezes create an atmosphere of quiet reverence.

Every element of the sanctuary has been crafted with intention. The accommodation is spacious, elegant, and minimal in the most elevated sense - soft linens, earthy tones, handcrafted details, and a seamless indoor/outdoor rhythm that immediately calms the nervous system. These spaces are not simply rooms, but private cocoons of rest and integration, where your body softens, your breath deepens, and your senses reawaken.

From sunrise practices by the water to slow afternoons by the pool, Kurulu Bay becomes both your home and your teacher throughout the retreat. Each meal is thoughtfully crafted from fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, creating a farm-to-table experience that feels both luxurious and deeply nourishing. The cuisine is light, vibrant, and inspired by modern Sri Lankan flavours, allowing your body to feel energised, clear, and open for practice.

Served in the open-air pavilion overlooking the stillness of the lake, every meal becomes a moment of ceremony - a time to soften, savour, and enjoy the gentle luxury of being taken care of. Expect colourful plates, delicate spice, warm breads, tropical fruits, and dishes prepared with an artistry that invites you to slow down and taste life more fully.

All dietary needs are warmly accommodated, and each meal is designed to support your nervous system, your practice, and your immersion into the life of Lakshmi.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please take a moment to carefully read the terms below. Due to the intimate and limited nature of this retreat, once your deposit or full payment is received, you agree to be bound by these conditions.

I understand and agree that:

• All payments, including the deposit, are non-refundable under any circumstances. This is due to the upfront costs and commitments required to hold your place.

• A deposit of $500 secures your place at the Sri Living Retreat.

• Following the deposit, remaining payments must be finalised prior to April 19th.

• If I am unable to attend, I may transfer my booking to another guest. It is my responsibility to source and coordinate with a replacement participant. The retreat organisers are not responsible for finding a replacement on my behalf.

• Comprehensive travel insurance is my responsibility. I acknowledge that it is essential in case of unforeseen changes to my personal circumstances or travel plans, and that the retreat organisers are not liable for any disruptions or cancellations affecting my attendance.

• I understand and agree that no flights, transfers, visas, or travel insurance are included in the retreat fee. I am solely responsible for arranging and paying for all travel to and from the retreat location, including international and domestic flights, airport transfers, and appropriate travel insurance.

• I am responsible for my own health and safety preparations. This includes researching and obtaining any recommended or required immunisations, medications, and preventative measures for travel to rural South India.

• Should I fall ill or become injured during the retreat, I understand that I am personally responsible for any and all associated medical expenses, including consultations, medication, transport, or treatment. The retreat organisers are not liable for any medical costs incurred during the trip. 

• Retreat Cancellation or Postponement: The retreat organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the retreat at any time. In such cases, attendees will be offered the option to transfer their booking to a future retreat. Any travel, accommodation, or other related expenses incurred by the attendee remain the sole responsibility of the attendee.
